VVV-Venlo

VVV-Venlo is a Dutch football club from Venlo which was founded on 7 February 1903. The abbreviation VVV stands for 'Venlose Football Association'. The uniform of VVV-Venlo consists of a yellow shirt with a black stripe through it, black shorts and yellow socks.

In the 70s and 80s, the club played for several years in red and white. The club played its home games in Stadion De Kraal for a long time. Since March 1972 Stadium De Koel The home ground for VVV-Venlo. This stadium is literally located in a pit (koel is the Venlo dialect for pit) on Kaldenkerkerweg, on top of the steep edge in the east of Venlo. The stadium once held 24,500 spectators during the VVV-Ajax match in 1977 (2-2). In 2004, De Koel was thoroughly rebuilt. Since 2005, the accommodation has gone through life as Seacon Stadium -De Koel-, from 2019 as Covebo Stadium -De Koel-.
