Sportclub Heerenveen, or sc Heerenveen for short, is a Dutch professional football club based in Heerenveen, which competes in the Eredivisie in both the men's and women's leagues. The club's greatest successes are winning the KNVB Cup in 2009 and reaching the UEFA Champions League in 2000-2001.
The home base of sc Heerenveen has been the Abe Lenstra Stadiumnamed after the former footballer Abe Lenstra who died in 1985. At present, 27,224 spectators can take place in the stadium. In theory, this means that almost all inhabitants of the city of Heerenveen (30,661 inhabitants) can take place in the stadium as spectators.

PSV is a football club from Eindhoven. It was founded on 31 August 1913 under the name Philips Sport Vereniging as a sports club of the Philips employees.
PSV grew into a club that belongs to the traditional top three of Dutch professional football. On the UEFA ranking of best clubs in Europe, PSV was in 56th place with 29,000 points on 7 March 2022. The home ground of PSV is the Philips Stadium where some 35,000 spectators have their seats.

Hamburger SV (HSV) is a German omni-sport club from Hamburg. HSV was founded back in 1887 and until 2018 was the only club to play continuously in the Bundesliga since its foundation in 1963. Indeed, the club had not been relegated since the 1919 merger that led to HSV and played 99 years in a row at the highest national level. HSV is one of only two clubs (along with Nottingham Forest) to have won the European Cup I once or several times and will not play at the highest national level in the 2021/22 season.

Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie, or N.E.C. for short, is a Dutch professional football club from Nijmegen. The club was founded on 11 April 1910, after a merger between Eendracht and NVV Nijmegen. The home ground is the Goffertstadion which offers 12,500 seats. The club colours are red, green and black. The logo with the double-headed eagle refers to the coat of arms of Nijmegen.
The 2020/2021 season in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie resulted in a seventh place. On 23 May 2021, N.E.C. won the final of the play-offs against NAC Breda by 1-2, thus promoting to the Eredivisie after four years of absence.

Fortuna Sittard is a Dutch professional football club from the municipality of Sittard-Geleen which was founded on 1 July 1968 following a merger. As of the 2018/19 season, the club plays in the Eredivisie, after a second place finish in the 2017/18 First Division was enough for promotion. Fortuna Sittard's achievements in its existence included becoming First Division champions. Predecessor Fortuna'54 won the KNVB Cup twice.

Fortuna Sittard chose to have their own reserve bench heated with Sit & Heat. The dugout was being renovated at the time and that was the reason to equip it with the Sit & Heat heated seats.
VVSB, in full Football Association Sint Bavo, is an amateur football club from Noordwijkerhout, municipality of Noordwijk, South Holland, the Netherlands. The club colours are purple-yellow. VVSB was founded on 26 October 1931. The name refers to the former psychiatric institution Sint Bavo where a number of staff members took the initiative to establish a football club. The first period, the club played on a field located on the grounds of the institution.
VVSB plays its home matches at Sportpark de Boekhorst where there is room for 2,500 spectators. The first Saturday team plays in the Third Division (2021/22). Because the Sunday branch was in fact disbanded as of 2017/18, this team is now the club's "second" team.
In the 2009/10 season, VVSB's first Sunday team finished fifth in the Hoofdklasse (A). Through a 2-0 victory at home and a 1-0 defeat away in the play-offs against SV Venray, VVSB qualified for the Top Class, which started in the 2010/11 season and became the highest level in Dutch amateur football.

FC Volendam is a Dutch football club from Volendam. The club was founded on 1 June 1977 as a split-off from RKSV Volendam (founded on 1 June 1920). The uniform consists of an orange shirt and black trousers: therefore the club is also called 'The Other Orange'. The home games are played at the Kras Stadium where there is room for about 7,000 spectators.
Volendam has reached the final of the KNVB Cup twice so far. The first time was in 1958, when Sparta won 4-3. In May 1995 Feyenoord won the cup after a 2-1 victory. The club's highest ranking was sixth in the Eredivisie in the 1989/90 and 1992/93 seasons.
Characteristic of Volendam are the many local players, with names like Schilder, Tol, Steur, Veerman and Jonk and the many promotions and relegations to and from the Eredivisie. The botter that always rides over the Dijk when the players are promoted is also called De Heen en Weer. The last time the club relegated from the Eredivisie was in the 2008/09 season. In the 2021/22 season, Volendam finished in second place in the First Division, which enabled them to promote directly to the Eredivisie. Thus Volendam returned to the highest level after thirteen years.

PEC Zwolle is a Dutch professional football club from Zwolle in the province of Overijssel. The club was founded in 1910 as PEC. Since the summer of 2022, the club plays in the First Division, after ten consecutive seasons in the Eredivisie. The home base of the football club is the MAC³PARK stadium. From the 2010/11 season, PEC Zwolle also has a women's team. This team plays in the Women's Eredivisie.
The club's greatest success followed at the end of the 2013/14 season. PEC may have fallen back to 9th place in the league, but the club managed to reach the final of the KNVB Cup. On 20 April 2014 in Rotterdam, they met national champion Ajax, which was already almost assured of a new national title. PEC beat Ajax 5-1 through goals from Ryan Thomas (2x), Guyon Fernandez (2x) and captain Bram van Polen. The club thus grabbed its first prize in the 104-year club history. On 3 August 2014, PEC also won the Johan Cruijff Schaal by beating Ajax again, 1-0 through a goal by Stefan Nijland.
